Branford CT Light Anomaly CPRS

This video clip shows a possible orb captured by one of our static cameras in a bedroom at a house in Branford CT. One of our investigators was on the second floor in the hallway when he heard a noise coming from inside of the room with the static camera. As he walked into the room, he witnessed the dresser shaking and snapped a picture inside of the room. At about 0:24 seconds into the clip you will see a flash from our investigator's digital camera and then an orb will travel out of the closet, in front of the book case, and float towards the camera out to the left.

Bombe Chest - Your Dresser's Curvy Cousin

While you may not know what they're called, you likely have seen a bombe chest in the past.

Bombe chests look like small dressers or chests of drawers, but instead of having straight squared lines, they have beautiful curves and a serpentine design.

Some people call them Bombay Chests, but that's just because they don't know how to spell it and are trying to write out the thing that sounds closest to the name.

For the most part bombe chests are used to store linens and other such items in the dining room of the home, but with their stunning look and style they could be a great addition to any room in the house.

While you could put a bombe chest to work for its traditional chore of storing the fine linens in the dining area, you could also put one in your bedroom. It is a much classier alternative to the traditional dresser, and can add to the storage options you already have, or set a new bar for the décor in your bedroom.

The storage usage of a bombe chest can also be utilized in a living room or sitting room. While they are stunning pieces to look at, they can also hold any of the things you want to have nearby, but not necessarily in sight, in the house.

If you have set up a classic Victorian bathroom in your home, a bombe chest can be a perfect addition to this space. Finding a bombe chest in matching style will give you a classy place to store towels and other bathroom linens.

Have a lot of guests over? Consider putting a bombe chest in the hallway near those spare bedrooms. When they are not in use, it will look like a decorative piece of furniture that keeps the hallway from looking boring. When guests are in town, a bombe chest with large drawers could be a place they find sheets, blankets and pillowcases.

Sure, there are plenty of other storage options to do all these jobs, but they don't all look alike. Bombe chests come with the advantage of having an exotic look and are a unique addition to a room that adds character to the space without having to redo anything else.

When it comes to selecting the right bombe chest, you want one that is well crafted. Study and research the quality. Look closely at the shape of the drawers in the chest. You want ones that are going to fit well and for a long time without sticking.

You should also look carefully at the size of the drawers. Depending on what you plan to store in the bombe chest, this size may well matter. Take measurements of the things you need to be able to put away and make sure the drawers will be enough to accommodate them. If you would prefer shelving, while harder to find, there are bombe chests that actually have doors on the bottom. Inside those doors are often shelves that can be used for storage. But this style of bombe chest will take a bit more of a search to discover.
